How does it work?
Follow these simple steps to start using MapShot
Take a photo of your view
Mark a point on the image that you can identify. (A mountain, a church, a tower...)
Mark the point on a map
Be rewarded with a MapShot viewer, where each image pixel corresponds to a coordinate on a map. Your self-created interactive orientation panel!
If you are satisfied with your MapShot, share it with others. A map with all published MapShots worldwide allows you to download MapShots from others even in places where you are not so familiar!
