Any modern smartphone works. Simply open the default camera app and take a photo.
DSLR, mirrorless, or compact camera — all work as long as the standard focal length is used.
Use your camera's standard focal length — no wide angle, no zoom.
Our algorithms use the focal length to calculate which point in the image corresponds to which position on the map. If you zoom in or use a wide angle, the mapping no longer works and labels end up in the wrong places. Your camera's default setting is just right.
